1957 was the birth year of the principal of the Whitelands Project, Jonathan, and it was also the year that the red cedar plantation of Whitelands Copse began. As the two shared the same birthday, we thought it was time for a celebration- welcoming just under just under 100 friends and family members to a Polynesian inspired Hangi in the woods.

We’d like to think it sounded like a pretty good party, considering even the weather joined in (with torrential rain)! However, shelter can always be provided and good company helps every situation, so we would like to thank everyone who joined us in celebrating.
Recovering and making breakfast in the much-awaited sunshine the next day.
